Types of items that can be stored in our storage units

All items should be properly stored. Desiccant packs should be utilized to prevent mold growth. Mothballs or cedar should be included with clothing and home linens. Refrigerators and freezers should be stored with doors removed. Vehicles should be winterized and prepared for storage according to manufacturer’s recommendations. Most items do not require any type of climate-controlled environment and can be safely and securely stored in a self-storage unit. Although there are exceptions for fragile antiques and particularly valuable items, generally the following types of items can be stored in one of our storage units without suffering any detrimental effects:
